Fernanda Gomes (Fernanda Gomes Silva Ferro) serves as Professor of the Universidade Tiradentes (UNIT) since 2014. She first served as academic support coordinator (2005-2020) at Universidade Tiradentes (UNIT). Since 2021 she has been systems coordinator at the Department of Technology (DTI) at Universidade Tiradentes (UNIT). She has a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). She is a PhD student in Computer Science at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). She has experience in the area of Computer Science, with emphasis on Software Engineering and the following topics: software engineering education and using open source projects in teaching Software Engineering. She participates in the SEED research group (SEED stands for “when open source software ecosystems and software engineering education collide”).
